MoonSlinger
A downloadable game for Windows
Small game developed while on a weekend Game Jam during September 2019.
The game scene depicts a 2D solar system, with a sun in the middle, two planets on the far left and right side of the sun (player planets), plus several orbiting planets in between. Each player-planet has a ring of moonlets surrounding it. The concept of this two-player game is that the players control a cannon on the surface of their planet, that allows them to shoot rockets at each other. The rockets are attracted by planets and sun, and their varying orbits interact such that missile trajectories are affected by this simplified n-body gravity. The goal of the game is to destroy the opposing player's moons.
Game developed by 3-man group:
Programming implemented by Vorondil.
Graphics and Audio each implemented respectively by the other members of the group.
It should be noted that the game is rather rough polish-wise.
